What Is The Cost Of Guitar Lessons?

Posted by Play Guitar on 5th August 2009 in Guitar

If you are looking for private guitar lessons they could cost you around $10 to $40 for 30 minutes or $20 -$55 for a whole hour lesson. You usually are charged less for a full hour than that of two half hours. So an hour is better value. It should be noted that teachers who specialize in advanced pupils can charge around $45 to $80 and upwards per hour/ Of course the cost is determined a lot by the teacher’s expertise and reputation.

It is often the way that beginning students usually will take only half hour lessons as an hour can be very confronting, especially the case for little children, but the time lessons take is totally dependent upon the teacher and the student’s choice that is agreed upon by them and is not fixed.

Whether you choose to go the teacher way or decide that a music studio will teach you better either one will probably want paid at the beginning of each and every month you stay with them. You can even get into a Group guitar class then your costs will be around $35 – $85 upwards a month. The number of students plus the length of sessions along with the qualifications of the instructors will determine the actual charge though.

There is usually a registration fee and this is usually paid right at the start of each group of classes, which are usually between 1 to 3 months long.
